Trio Jakob

Vencedor de diversos prémios internacionais, o Trio Jakob é um ensemble com o objetivo de explorar o repertório para trio com piano e criar uma paisagem sonora única através da convergência de três personalidades distintas.
Atualmente reside nos Países Baixos, sendo composto por músicos oriundos de Portugal e de Espanha.
Desde a sua fundação em 2014, o trio trabalhou com figuras de renome como Dirk Mommertz, Michel Strauss, Heime Müller, Peter Nagy e Claire Désert, bem como com grupos como o Quarteto Vogler, o Gryphon Trio e o Cuarteto Casals.
Recebem regularmente orientação do Osiris Trio e participaram nos encontros anuais do International Chamber Music Campus da Jeunesses Musicales, em Weikersheim, com uma bolsa de estudo integral concedida pela JMI-Deutschland.

Têm-se apresentado em temporadas de concertos e festivais internacionais – entre os quais a Fundación Juan March em Madrid, o Fringe Festival em Torroella de Montgrí, o Livorno Music Festival (Itália) e o Jardí dels Tarongers (Barcelona) – e conquistaram recentemente vários concursos de música de câmara, incluindo o XVI CIM Les Corts em Barcelona, o II Concurso Cambra Romànica em Andorra e o La Follia Nuova International Competition em Itália.
A sua agenda para os próximos tempos inclui recitais em Itália, Espanha, Andorra e nos Países Baixos, bem como uma gravação profissional por convite do Metro Rec Studio, em Itália.

Em 2019, foram selecionados para integrar a rede Le Dimore del Quartetto.

The recipient of various international prizes, Trio Jakob is an ensemble with the goal of  exploring the piano trio repertoire and the creation of an unique soundscape through  the convening of three distinct personalities.
Currently residing in the Netherlands but hailing from both Portugal and Spain.
Since its inception in 2014, they have worked with many  household names such as Dirk Mommertz, Michel Strauss, Heime Müller, Peter Nagy  and Claire Désert and groups like the Vogler Quartet , Gryphon Trio and Cuarteto Casals.
They are regularly coached by the Osiris Trio and have taken part in the annual  encounters of Jeunesses Musicales’s International Chamber Music Campus in  Weikersheim, supported by a full scholarship of JMI-Deutschland.

Having performed in concert seasons and international music festivals – among which  the Fundación Juan March in Madrid, Fringe Festival In Torroella de Montgrí, the Livorno  Music Festival (Italy) and in the Jardí dels Tarongers (Barcelona) – the trio has recently  won various chamber music competitions including the XVI CIM Les Corts in Barcelona,  the II Concurso Cambra Románica in Andorra and La Follia Nuova International  Competition in Italy.
Their upcoming agenda includes recitals in Italy, Spain, Andorra and  the Netherlands as well as a professional recording by invitation of the Metro Rec Studio  in Italy.
In 2019 they have been selected to take part in Le Dimore del Quartetto network.
